 | 04 November 2005 | FRANCE - Nantes Poodle Specialty Weekend – 26/27 October 2005
An interesting experience with Poodle exhibitors coming from all over Europe for the National Poodle Club of France CH show on Saturday followed by Nantes International Poodle Specialty on Sunday. The Club has recently appointed a new President and the ‘new broom’ produced an excellent show with special classes, numerous awards and a buffet lunch laid on for all exhibitors.
Dante won the Reserve CAC on Saturday from the Open class. Hannah, having won the Champion class then went on to the Champion of Champions in Show competition, held in the afternoon after Best Puppy and Best Junior in Show.
Out of 17 qualifying champions, Hannah was placed 3rd behind a spectacular toy and classy looking moyen, all three being black.
On Sunday Dante won his 3rd CAC – this being the Specialty qualifier counting towards his French title. He then won the Reserve CACIB.
Hannah again won the Champion class.

 | 11 April 2005 | Quartzos day at Limoges
The Int Ch Show at Limoges on 9 April was a success for the Quartzos, Mother and Son. Dante won his second CACS and the Res CACIB. Hannah topped the Champion Classes, winning the CACIB and Best of Breed, and later in the day went on to take 3rd place in the Group - no easy task in a group that, with the exception of the poodles, consists entirely of toy breeds. |
|
 | 15 March 2005 | A First at Crufts
Dante took first place in the Yearling class at Crufts, much to the delight of his international fan club and his owner/handler. Many thanks to Mrs June Freeman for Dantes red card, and all at Quartzo wish her a speedy recovery from being taken ill in the ring whilst judging PGD. |
|

The judge at LKA today made no hesitation at all in her choice of first place in the Postgraduate dog class of eleven present from fourteen entries, thus giving Dante his third Postgraduate win over the last four weekends. A successful end to a hard-fought campaign this year, which pleases the handler, pleases the chauffeur, and pleases Dantes mum as well! |

 | 30 September 2003 | Debut of Quartzo Quantum Leap
At just 6 months old Dante went to his first show on 28 September, the Worksop and District Canine Society's open show. He won Best Standard Poodle Puppy and Reserve Best of Breed, and later took second place in the AV Utility Puppy class. All in all a pretty good first outing. |
 | 02 September 2003 | Summer actvities in France
This first entry is really a catch-up to start the diary off. Following a long break since the Bordeaux show in January, during which Hannah performed her maternal duties admirably, She won 5th place in the Champion Stakes at Windsor under Denis Coxall. During August Hannah won Best of Breed and the CACIB at the Cahors International show, and Best of Breed and Group 2 at Ahun in the Limousin. Both shows were during the hottest part of August, and at Cahors in particular, with the temperature at 40+ degrees, we were grateful for an airconditioned benching hall. Thankfully it was not quite so hot at Ahun, but as this show was totally outdoors, our large patio umbrella did good service. |
